    En la actualidad, es posible escuchar referencias a los Comunes en parte gracias al resurgimiento de movimientos orientados a la defensa de comunales tradicionales, así como al desarrollo de nuevas experiencias asociativas, sindicales y cooperativas de carácter comunal. Tanto por el impacto tangible de sus acciones como por la expansión de sus prácticas, los Comunes adquieren presencia en el discurso público, aunque a menudo sin hacer acopio de la dimensión sistémica de su significado. Si bien la vulgarización del concepto es relevante porque favorece su uso y popularización, conlleva también el riesgo del cercamiento que distorsiona su sentido, uno que por su propia naturaleza fenomenológica existe en constante estado de renovación. Este artículo analiza la cancelación del sistema de los Comunes, así como su reaparición en territorio español prestando especial atención al libro Comuntopía, a la praxis recogida en la Constelación de los Comunes y a la consideración de que aquello que aún persiste y resiste lo hace a pesar del capitalismo y, en ocasiones, atravesado por él.

    Today, one can hear references to the Commons, thanks in part to the resurgence of movements dedicated to defending traditional communal systems, as well as the emergence of new associative, union-based, and cooperative initiatives with a communal character. Through both the tangible impact of their actions and the spread of their practices, the Commons have gained a presence in public discourse—though frequently without acknowledging the systemic dimension of their meaning. While the popularization of the concept is significant for encouraging its use and dissemination, it also carries the risk of enclosure, which distorts its essence—an essence that, by its very phenomenological nature, exists in a state of constant renewal. This article examines the dismantling of the commons system, as well as its reemergence within Spanish territory, with particular attention to the book Comuntopía, to the praxis captured in the open archive Constellation of the Commons, and to the recognition that what still persists and resists does so in spite of capitalism—and, at times, through it.
