    En este artículo se analizan las ideas sobre el amor y el matrimonio que aparecen en el "Libro Segundo" del Tristán sevillano de 1534. Para ello se verá su encuadre dentro de la tradición promatrimonial castellana, el establecimiento de varios tipos de amor según sea su relación con el matrimonio, la utilización de la ideología del amor cortés, la postura del autor ante la mujer y la elección de marido, el ritual del desposorio y de la boda y las connotaciones sociales que implica el cambio de estado.

    The aim of this article is to examine the love and marriage ideas that appear in the "Libro Segundo" of the Spanish edition of 1534 of Tristán. In this way, it is interesting to observe the Castilian tradition in favour of marriage, the kinds of love mentioned in the book, the usage of courtly love, the author's thought about women and their choice of a husband, the ritual of marriage and its associated events, such as social promotion.
