Resumen de Martín Solera, un alarife del setecientos. Una mirada a su trayectoria profesional a partir de sus enseres cotidianos

  Este estudio procura aproximarse a la figura de Martín Solera (1714-1766), un destacado alarife que ocupó cargos en los cabildos eclesiástico y municipal de Murcia y en su gremio. Se parte de su inventario de bienes y de documentación inédita, para compendiar su trayectoria profesional, aproximarse a los enseres que poseía al morir y reflexionar sobre su voluntad de construirse una identidad pública, en el contexto de la nobleza de las artes liberales.

Bere ondasun-inbentario eta dokumentazio argitaragabetik abiatu gara, bere ibilbide profesionala laburbiltzeko, hiltzean zituen tresnetara hurbiltzeko eta arte liberalen nobleziaren testuinguruan bere nortasun publikoa eraikitzeko borondateari buruz hausnartzeko

  This paper approaches the figure of Martin Solera (1714-1766), a master builder who held positions within the ruling bodies of the cathedral and the town of Murcia as well as with his guild. From an inventory of his goods and some other unpublished documents, we study his professional trajectory, analyse his possessions at the time of his death and reflect on his attempt to build a public image within the context of the Nobility and the Liberal Arts.
