The advance of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in recent times has posed a challenge for teaching contexts and has become a resource that can contribute significantly to educational inclusion by offering all students new learning opportunities and access to information. Therefore, the need to transform the training profile of teachers, betting on the acquisition of digital competencies in teacher training and including models and practices that consider the use of ICT as a tool that favors the creation of innovative and inclusive learning environments. The reformulation of the teacher training profile must be accompanied by a favorable attitude on the part of teachers, adaptation to change, predisposition towards collaborative work and incorporation of technological resources in pedagogical tasks. In addition, it is of vital importance that educational centers promote the provision of such resources and ensure an adequate use of ICT in the classroom.
This theoretical reflection work analyzes the process of digital skills development during teacher training and the functionalities of different technological resources designed to favor the inclusion of all children in the school environment.
