    El ambiente cortesano definido por los reyes de Castilla (Alfonso X El Sabio), y Portugal (Alfonso III) ha sido considerado como el trasfondo de la poesía trovadoresca gallego-portuguesa, dando lugar a la definición de ‘época alfonsina’ (aprox. de 1250 a 1280). Sin embargo, mientras que los estudiosos se han ocupado extensamente de los poetas y los textos pertenecientes a la corte castellana, hoy en día seguimos necesitando un análisis completo y amplio de la portuguesa, considerando tanto los autores que trabajaron en ese entorno, como los textos producidos y los posibles escenarios alternativos donde los trovadores podían componer e interpretar. En este sentido, el artículo propone un primer examen de las principales cuestiones relacionadas con este tema, con la esperanza de sentar las bases para futuras investigaciones.

    The courtly environment defined by the kings of Castile (Alphonse X The Wise), and Portugal (Alphonse III) has been considered as the background of the Galician-Portuguese troubadour poetry, leading to the definition of ‘Alphonsine era’ (approx. from 1250 to 1280). However, while scholars have extensively studied the poets and the texts associated with the Castilian court, there is still the need for a complete and comprehensive analysis of the Portuguese one, taking into account both the authors who worked in this environment, the texts produced and the possible alternative settings in which troubadours could compose and perform. In this regard, the article proposes an initial examination of the main issues related to the subject topic, in the hope of laying the groundwork for future research.
