Resumen de Messina 1908. Da Via Ferdinanda a Via Garibaldi: lo storico tracciato urbano restituito attraverso il DOC-GIS

• The discovery of a mine of information in about 300 unpublished folders in the Palazzo Zanca Archive, the“Fondo Ufficio Speciale Espropriazioni” has re-established some hidden truths about the previous cities in which Messina was reflected in the last centuries and after the earthquake of 1908. The data of the documentary heritage for the Via Ferdinanda, later Via Garibaldi, have implemented the database of cartographic elaborations in GIS that re-proposes the history of this street and its architecture.
