  • The configuration of the urban network of northwestern Galicia in the 16th-18th centuries, around the royal cities of A Coruña and Betanzos and a group of small towns, was a process accompanied by certain tensions and conflicts. The main reasons for dispute, after those of a fiscal nature, are those related to the administration of justice, followed by others in which local economic interests are aired.
