    Este artículo propone analizar un espacio particular dedicado a la exposición de arte en la ciudad de Córdoba, Argentina. Previo a ello se presenta un sucinto comentario sobre algunos de los antecedentes internacionales y sudamericanos dentro de una tendencia general de recuperación y adaptación de edificios preexistentes con el objetivo de albergar el desarrollo de prácticas culturales. Tras los desafíos que proponen las características de la creación artística contemporánea y su posterior exhibición, es imprescindible la constitución de equipos de trabajo que logren coordinar actuaciones contemplando un justo equilibrio entre lo viejo y lo nuevo.

    This article proposes to analyze a particular space which has been devoted to art exhibition in the city of Córdoba, Argentina. Before that, it presents a brief commentary about the international and South American background inside a general tendency of refurbishment and adaptation of redesigned buildings with a historic background with the objective of holding the development of cultural practices. Behind the challenges that the features of the contemporary art creation proposes, and its subsequent exhibition, it is indispensable that the constitution of the working equipment achieves the coordination of the performances in a delicate balance between the old and the new.
