Resumen de Arquitectura y museología: una relación compleja

El presente artículo analiza la compleja relación que se establece entre la institución museística y el edificio que la acoge (los papeles que puede jugar la arquitectura en el museo; la responsabilidad del edificio ante las colecciones, el público y el personal; los mecanismos de dominio y subordinación que se pueden producir entre ambos, etc.), así como las formas en que esta relación ha sido estudiada y los caminos más lógicos para conseguir una mejor integración entre museo y arquitectura, que pasan por la formación de equipos multidisciplinares y la planificación de actuaciones a la hora de proyectar y construir el edificio de museo.

This article analyzes the complex relation established between the museum institution and the building that receives it (the roles that architecture can play in the museum; the responsibility of the building with collections, public and staff; the mechanisms of domain and subordination that can take place between both…), as well as the forms in which this relation has been studied and the most logical ways to obtain a better integration between museum and architecture: the creation of multidisciplinary teams and the planning at the moment of projecting or constructing any building of museum.
