Resumen de Release of 137Cs from Anoxic Lacustrine Sediment Measurement and Formulation
Low level measurements of 137Cs in lacustrine sediment and its pore water are possible down to 10 mBq activities.From these data, the flux of 137Cs through the sediment and to the bottom water can be estimated.The value of the diffusion coefficient in the pore water follows from separate radiotracer experiments.
