Resumen de «El sur», de Adelaida García Morales, revisitado desde la óptica del Derecho de familia

La pretensión del trabajo que presentamos reside en leer la novela “El sur”, de Adelaida García Morales, desde la óptica del Derecho de familia, siendo conscientes de que las Bellas Artes (Literatura, Cine, Pintura, Música...) pueden ser muy útiles a la hora de trabajar con Derecho. Los temas de Derecho de familia presentes en la novela son tan gráficos que merecen un estudio detallado. En todo momento nos referiremos a la novela, pero puede haber alguna mención puntual también a la película de Víctor Erice, adaptación brillante de dicha novela. Nos ocuparemos de cuestiones como el reflejo que se ofrece sobre la patria potestad, el matrimonio, la familia y las familias y la filiación. Comprobaremos nuevamente que la Literatura y el Cine (y, en general, las manifestaciones artísticas) pueden ser muy útiles para enseñar Derecho y para trabajar con el Derecho.

The purpose of this paper is reading the novel “El Sur” (Adelaida García Morales) from the perspective of Family Law, because we are sure about Artistic Manifestations (Literature, Film, painting, music, etc.) can be very useful for working with Law. The Family Law themes presents in the novel are so graphic that they merit detailed study. We will work with the novel, but there may also be occasional mention of Víctor Erice's film, a brilliant adaptation of the novel. We will address issues such as the reflection it offers about parental authority, marriage, family and families, and filiation. We will again demonstrate that Literature and Film (and, in general, artistic expressions) can be very useful in teaching Law and in working with Law.
