  • In Ihe present text, an analysis was made in twelve capitals that are originate of the Lisbon Roman Theater, place uncover during the oíd archaeological work made in de 60's years.

    This collection assembles five ionic capitals and seven samples that can integrate the Corinthian architectonic order. Nevertheless the bad conservation state of them - the reason why this happen, is in a big manner due to the kind of raw material used - the information that them supply, available us to establish some considerations about the decorative plastic, in that time in vogue, as well to the ornamental program of the roman theater.
