    Este texto reflexiona sobre el valor intrínsecamente social de la creación poética. El uso creador de la lengua, para el autor, es el núcleo formador de la sociedad humana y es su exhibición como logro colectivo. En la poesía es posible ver actuar las fuerzas profundas del lenguaje compartido que conducen a un mundo mejor, gracias a la capacidad que la poesía tiene de suscitar una “nostalgia de futuro”. El autor revisa grandes poemas escritos en torno a la Guerra de España y demuestra esta tesis, al tiempo que la ilustra con gran belleza y certidumbre.

    This text reflects on the intrinsically social value of poetic creation. The creative use of language, for the author, is the formative nucleus of human society and its exhibition as a collective achievement. In poetry it is possible to see the deep forces of shared language at work, that lead to a better world, thanks to the capacity of poetry to arouse a “nostalgia for the future”. The author reviews great poems written around the Spanish War and demonstrates this thesis, while illustrating it with great beauty and certainty
