The pottery is originary from late units, belonging at least to the fourth century; it was excavated at the house of Cantaber, at the amphitheater and also at the western corner of the wall. The typical imperial pieces are still abundant in some strata, whether they constitute residual material or simple continuities in fabric and form. These tendencies change only very slowly, and at different rhythms.

A cerâmica que aqui se apreciou é proveniente de unidades tardias, posteriores ou, no melhor dos casos, pertencentes ao século IV; foram escavadas na casa de Cantaber, no anfiteatro e no bico da muralha. As peças tipicamente imperiais são ainda abundantes em determinados estratos, quer por constituírem material residual, quer por se tratar de continuidades no fabrico e na forma. Como se verá, as tendências alteram-se apenas lentamente, e a ritmos alternados.
