  Muchos son los interrogantes que aún quedan por resolver para tener un buen conocimiento de la antigua Augusta Emerita. En este trabajo pretendemos abordar la problemática que se desarrolla en las inmediaciones del río Guadiana y las puertas de acceso a la ciudad. Partimos de un análisis del paisaje urbano en torno al Ana: el río, el puente, etc., y las transformaciones que paulatinamente se van desarrollando en esta zona.
