With ethnographic conversations and digital fieldwork, we provide an empirical basis for understanding the situation of sex workers during the COVD-19 pandemic in Spain. We explore their difficulties, the government response and the maneuvers deployed by the collective. We reveal the vulnerability they experienced, the inaction of political power and strategies from women who assumed risks and lack of power. In summary, we propose policies guaranteeing rights that expand decision margins and neutralize stigma.
