This article’s second part concludes the presentation of the archaeological safeguarding areas included on the Municipal Master Plan of Porto. Aside from the multiple and dense vestiges known at the Historic Centre, the municipal territory holds a variety of remains referring to different inhabiting strategies over time. Recognizing the cultural signifi cance of this diversity can help revitalize the memory of the city, understand its transformations, and explore its temporal depth as a resource for urban and social development
