    El Cántico de las Criaturas, compuesto por Francisco de Asís, trasciende la mera poesía para convertirse en una sinfonía en la que toda la creación entona una alabanza al Creador. Este estudio examina las fuentes del Cántico, tanto bíblicas como litúrgicas. Asimismo, estudia su género, estructura literaria y contenido, destacando su progresión desde la glorificación de Dios hasta la reconciliación última del ser humano con la muerte. Se subraya, además, la dinámica de restitución inherente al himno, su integración de la fraternidad universal y su arraigo en una espiritualidad pascual. En su conjunto, el Cántico representa una mirada redimida sobre el mundo, testimonio de la armonía entre Dios, la humanidad y la creación, y un eco profético del Reino de Dios.

    The Canticle of the Creatures, composed by Francis of Assisi, transcends mere poetry to become a symphony in which all creation joins in praise of the Creator. This study examines the sources of the Canticle, both biblical and liturgical. It also explores its genre, literary structure, and content, highlighting its progression from the glorification of God to the ultimate reconciliation of humanity with death. Additionally, it emphasizes the dynamic of restitution inherent in the hymn, its integration of universal fraternity, and its roots in a Paschal spirituality. As a whole, the Canticle of the Creatures represents a redeemed vision of the world, a testimony to the harmony between God, humanity, and creation, and a prophetic echo of the Kingdom of God.
