Scientific literature on tourism translation has grown considerably over the last two decades. In this study, we propose a bibliographic review that allows us to discern the main trends addressed so far from the perspective of translatology. Among them, we should highlight the contributions related to the translation of culturemes and gastronomic terms, but also other studies focused on new types of tourism. Furthermore, we will reflect on the challenges that translators will face in the coming years, in an era characterised by artificial intelligence
