    La distrofia muscular miotónica o enfermedad de Steinert, asocia a las alteraciones musculares unas manifestaciones típicas a nivel maxilofacial. La observación de un caso nos permite reflexionar sobre la sintomatología y el tratamiento actual de la enfermedad, así como su repercusión en los tratamientos del territorio bucofacial que vayamos a practicar.

    The myotonic muscular dystrophy or Steinert Illness associates to the muscular alterations typical maxilofacial lessions. The study bf a case gives us the opportunity of observing the symptomatology and actual therapy of the illness as well as its relation with the treatments that we will perform in the bucofacial area.
