Resumen de Un análisis crítico de la red pill desde la ciencia social

La Red Pill supone una comunidad digital perteneciente a una red superior de sitios web, blogs y foros en línea que promueven la masculinidad enfantizada, la hostilidad hacia las mujeres y una fuerte oposición al feminismo: la Manosfera. Dicha comunidad ofrece conocer la verdad sobre las relaciones romántico sexuales en general, y dichas relaciones con las mujeres en particular. Pero, ¿a qué se debe su aparición y auge en los últimos años?La presente comunicación, de carácter exploratorio, tiene como objetivo fundamental responder a la cuestión anteriormente planteada a través del análisis del discurso de los usuarios pertenecientes a la comunidad Red Pill, de la observación de las interacciones sociales dadas en el espacio virtual de diversas plataformas online relacionadas con el tema y de la revisión de la obra escrita por parte de su principal teórico.De esta manera, en el presente texto se expondrá en qué consiste la Red Pill, se ofrecerá un pequeño repaso de las teorías de la tradición sociológica necesarias para el análisis de este y se explayarán los resultados de la investigación obtenidos tras el tratamiento del mencionado fenómeno a través de dichas teorías.Como avance de conclusiones, y constituyendo esto la aportación personal, se entiende que la Red Pill no resulta otra cosa que una hetería soteriológica (o comunidad salvífica): en una época de constante transformación de la realidad social, muchos individuos buscan inevitablemente instituciones o agentes que les muestren un cómo vivir, creyendo hallar su bienestar terrenal en distintas comunidades salvíficas. De esta manera, la comunidad Red Pill ofrece la salvación de los hombres (en cuanto individuos flotantes), de su entorno indefinido en materia de relaciones sexo-afectivas entre estos y las mujeres, tratando de escuchar, acoger, reinsertar y dar sentido a sus vidas.

The Red Pill is a digital community belonging to a larger network of websites, blogs and online forums that promote infantilized masculinity, hostility towards women and a strong opposition to feminism: the Manosphere. This community offers to know the truth about romantic-sexual relationships in general, and these relationships with women in particular. But, what is the reason for its appearance and rise in recent years?The present communication, of an exploratory nature, has as its fundamental objective to answer the question previously posed through the analysis of the discourse of the users belonging to the Red Pill community, the observation of the social interactions given in the virtual space of various online platforms related to the subject and the review of the written work by its main theorist.In this way, in this text we will explain what the Red Pill consists of, we will offer a brief review of the theories of the sociological tradition necessary for its analysis and we will explain the results of the research obtained after the treatment of the aforementioned phenomenon through these theories.As a preliminary conclusion, and this being my personal contribution, it is understood that the Red Pill is nothing other than a soteriological heteria (or salvific community): in a time of constant transformation of social reality, many individuals inevitably seek institutions or agents that show them how to live, believing that they will find their earthly well-being in different salvific communities. In this way, the Red Pill community offers salvation to men (as floating individuals), from their undefined environment in terms of sexual-affective relations between them and women, trying to listen, welcome, reintegrate and give meaning to their lives.
