Evaluación de la implementación de seminarios integradores en la química orgánica farmacéutica

    RESUMEN Este trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar los resultados de la implementación de seminarios integradores en las asignaturas Química Orgánica Farmacéutica I y II, para estudiantes de la carrera de Ciencias Farmacéuticas, en la Universidad de Oriente, durante cinco cursos. Métodos empleados: histórico-lógico, enfoque de sistema, analítico-sintético, inductivo-deductivo. En la Química Orgánica Farmacéutica I, los resultados se valoran de regular, solamente en dos cursos la cantidad de aprobados superó al de desaprobados. En la Química Orgánica Farmacéutica II se catalogan de satisfactorios; en cuatro cursos los porcentajes de aprobados fueron mayores respecto a los desaprobados. Hubo un aporte de consideración referente a la profundización, integración y generalización de los contenidos de dichas asignaturas, posibilitó la autogestión del conocimiento, sentó las bases para la comprensión de otras asignaturas de la especialidad, incentivó la participación activa, individual y colectiva, en torno a la búsqueda de soluciones a problemas cercanos a la profesión.

    ABSTRCT This paper aims to analyze the results of the implementation of integrative seminars in the subjects of Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry I and II for students of the Pharmaceutical Sciences degree at the University of Oriente during five courses. Methods used: historical-logical, system approach, analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive. In the subject Organic Pharmaceutical Chemistry I the results are not considered good; only in two courses the number of students who passed exceeded the number of those who failed. In the subject Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry II the results are considered satisfactory; in four courses the percentages of students who passed were higher than those who failed. There was a significant contribution regarding the deepening, integration and generalization of the contents of these subjects, which enabled self-management of knowledge, laid the foundations for understanding other subjects in the specialty, and encouraged active participation, both individual and collective, around the search for solutions to problems close to the profession.
