El debate epistemológico en torno al freudismo: presupuestos y límites de la tesis sobre el «realismo freudiano» de Paul Ricoeur

    La obra de Paul Ricoeur constituye uno de los puntos de ensamblaje más importantes entre la filosofía y el psicoanálisis. Sin embargo, la lectura de este autor está condicionada por unos presupuestos epistemológicos heredados, que en cierto modo «desnaturalizan» el contenido crítico que Freud creyó inherente a la tesis del inconsciente. La superación dialéctica que pretende Ricoeur conduce a una confrontación aporética en la que inconsciente y conciencia se superponen mutuamente y desdibujan sus límites respectivos, para de este modo salvar el dualismo antropológico, y en concreto la condición autónoma de la conciencia, característica de la Modernidad filosófica de la que es heredera la hermenéutica ricoeuriana.

    The work of Paul Ricoeur constitutes one of the most important points of assembly between philosophy and psychoanalysis. However, this author's reading is conditioned by inherited epistemological assumptions, which in a certain way «denaturalizes» the critical content that Freud believed to be inherent in the thesis of the unconscious. The dialectical overcoming that Ricoeur intends leads to an aporetic confrontation in which the unconscious and consciousness mutually overlap and blur their respective limits, in order to save anthropological dualism, and specifically the autonomous condition of consciousness, which is a characteristic of philosophical Modernity to which the Ricoeurian hermeneutics is heir.
