This paperfocuses on the “Body  Art” dramaturgical  project, whichwas written         by         the         Brazilian         playwright,         Newton         Moreno. The     project     analysis     has     revealed     that     the subversion     to     the heteronormative  order  is on  the  scenein  parallel  with  another  type  of subversion,  which  concerns  language  and  textual genre,  that  is,  the  body of  the  text.  The  Body  Art  project  blurs the  bordersof textual  genres, performatizing thelanguage, subverting the law of drama and proposing a reading  of  the  artwork  with  new  forms  and  new  parameters  beyond  the merely dramatic ones.
