    Este artículo realiza una descripción de La Biblioteca. Tercera época , revista que se editó entre los años 2005 -2015, con el objetivo de conocer e identificar las características salientes de la propuesta y ubicar su posición relativa en el campo revisteril argentino. Se recurre para ello a la publicación como fuente principal de observación y se emplean metodologías cuantitativas y cualitativas de análisis de contenido temático. Se constata que la publicación, a inicios del siglo XXI, surge con el propósito de continuar una cierta tradición ilustrada presente en la institución desde sus orígenes. En este sentido, como revista cultural del campo de las ciencias humanas y sociales que se publicaba en una institución estatal, La Biblioteca presenta puntos de contacto, continuidades y rupturas con proyectos contemporáneos y precedentes que le confieren un carácter singular

    The article describes the issues of La Biblioteca. Tercera época published between 2005- 2015 with the aim of knowing and identifying the main characteristics of the proposition and locating its relative position in the Argentine cultural journals field. The main source of information for this study is the journal itself and the investigation methodologies used include quantitative and qualitative processes for thematic content analysis. It was confirmed that the journal, at the beginning of the 21st century, arose with the purpose of continuing a certain illustrated tradition present in the institution since its origins. In this respect, as a cultural magazine in the field of human and social sciences published by a state institution, The Library presents points of contact, continuities and ruptures with contemporary and preceding projects that give it a unique character.
