Nerabezaroa garapenaren aldi kritikoa da, eta garuna oso sentikorra da botiloi gisako neurriz kanpoko alkohol-kontsumoarekiko. Alkoholak eragindako kalte iraunkorretan, mikrogliaren erantzuna eta eikosanoide proinflamatorioen ekoizpena funtsezkoak dira, eta 2-arakidonilglizerol (2-AG) endokannabinoideak eikosanoide proinflamatorioen iturri gisa garrantzi handia izan dezake. Sagu-eredu batean, alkoholak mikrogliaren egituran eta eikosanoide sintesian parte hartzen duten monoazilglizerol lipasa (MAGL) eta zikooxigenasa-2 (COX-2) entzimen espresioan duen eragina aztertu dugu, bai eta omega-3 gantz-azidoek aldaketa horiek arintzeko duten gaitasuna ere. Gure emaitzek omega-3 gantzazidoek alkoholaren ondorio kaltegarriak murrizteko duten potentziala nabarmentzen dute
Adolescence is a critical period of development, and the brain is highly sensitive to excessive alcohol consumption, such as binge drinking. In alcohol-induced long-term damage, the microglial response and the production of proinflammatory eicosanoids playa key role, with 2-arachidonoylglycerol (2-AG) potentially serving as a major source of proinflammatory eicosanoids. In a mouse model, we examined the effects of alcohol consumption on microglial structure and the expression of monoacylglycerol lipase (MAGL) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzymes involved in eicosanoid synthesis. We also evaluated the ability of omega-3 fatty acids to mitigate these changes. Our results highlight the potential of omega-3 fatty acids in reducing the harmful effects of alcoholconsumption
