    Francisco de Asís identifica dos caminos para superar la indignidad humana al nombrar a Dios: la oración y la alabanza elevadas junto con todas las criaturas. A través de la alabanza, se hace posible dirigirse a un Dios radicalmente trascendente, pero al mismo tiempo radicalmente presente a través de la misma creación. La oración se despliega como contemplación de la belleza de la creación, mediante la cual el ser humano percibe lo sagrado y se abre a lo trascendente. La belleza, esencia de la presencia divina, permite superar la inmanencia y, en la red de relaciones que constituye a cada ser, el hombre encuentra la posibilidad de elevarse hacia Dios.

    Francis of Assisi identifies two paths for overcoming human unworthiness in naming God: prayer and praise offered together with all creatures. Through such praise, it becomes possible to address a God who is radically transcendent, yet simultaneously present through creation itself. Prayer unfolds as comtemplation of the beauty of creation, through which humanity perceives the sacred and opens itself to the transcendent. Beauty, the essence of divine presence, enables the human being to transcend immanence, and so, within the network of relationships that constitute all beings, the human being finds the possibility of ascending to God.
