In the qualitative phase, semi- structured interviews were conducted with six teachers to explore their perceptions of the implementation of gamified activities. The data were analysed using statistical and thematic techniques, integrating the results from both perspectives. The results indicated a significant increase in student motivation, evidenced by higher levels of interest and enjoyment. In addition, teachers highlighted that the gamified activities promoted more dynamic learning, increased participation and facilitated the understanding of mathematical concepts. However, challenges were identified, such as the need for more teacher training and time to design the activities. This study highlights the transformative potential of gamification in basic education, providing a basis for future research and innovative pedagogical practices.
