    En el presente artículo, encontrarán una articulación entre el cine, el psicoanálisis y la estadística, tomando como punto de partida la película “Mo-neyball: el juego de la fortuna” dirigida por Benneth Miller. El manager del equipo de Baseball, protagonista de la película, revoluciona el modo de fichar jugadores, con un método inédito basado en la estadística, pero a su vez, tomando como indicador un detalle singular de cada uno de sus fichados. Lo universal, lo particular y lo singular serán tres categorías que girarán en este artículo y que nos servirán de guía de lectura de la película.

    In the present article, you will find an exploration of the intersection between cinema, psychoanalysis, and statistics, using the film Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game, directed by Bennett Miller, as a starting point. The team’s manager, the film’s protagonist, revolutionizes the way players are recruited with an innovative method based on statistics, but also taking into account a unique detail about each of the players he recruits.
