    El presente artículo pretende confrontar lo conceptuado con el significado y sentido que otorgan las estudiantes de Trabajo Social a la ética del cuidado, la responsabilidad consubstancial y la compasión, sentimiento humano que reconoce la fragilidad de la vida, la salud y la integridad personal frente a la ineludible naturaleza humana siempre vulnerable ante acontecimientos adversos que producen condiciones de debilidad e indefensión manifiestas. La solidaridad, comunidad de intereses concebida como valor moral, ético, político, despierta la necesidad de ayudar para sustentar al que sufre y sacarlo de su dificultad, además, para fortalecerlo y rehabilitarlo con el fin de que retome su proyecto vital, frente a su desarrollo humano digno en lo individual y colectivo.

    This article pretends to confront the conceptual constructions with the meaning and the sense that Social Work students give to ethics involving the care, consubstantial responsibility and compassion, human feeling that recognizes the fragility of one’s life, health and personal integrity regarding the unavoidable human nature always vulnerable to adverse events that produce weakness and defenseless conditions. Solidarity, communal interest conceived as a moral, ethic, political value awakens the need to help in order to sustain the suffering person and to relive this person from their difficulty, as well as fortifying and rehabilitating him/ her so they can retake his/her life project, facing their individual and collective appropriate human development.
