    ResumenEste es un artículo de reflexión sobre la forma como en los textos (informes de investigación, artículos, ponencias…) que circulan nacional e internacionalmente sobre el conflicto armado, se aborda la relación género-conflicto armado. El artículo se basa en las perspectivas en torno al género de Scott y Castellanos, quienes postulan la necesidad de entender el género en el marco de las relaciones sociales y de los juegos de poder que estas estructuran.Inicialmente, se presenta la forma como se aborda el género en los documentos consultados. Luego se revisa ello desde la orientación conceptual asumida. Después se busca identificar las relaciones entre género e identidad en contextos de conflicto armado, para finalizar con lo que establecen los textos consultados acerca de los impactos diferenciales del conflicto sobre los géneros. Se encontró una fuerte tendencia a evidenciar los efectos sobre las mujeres, bajo lo que parece ser una consideración implícita de que las consecuencias sobre los hombres son bien conocidas, por ser la guerra un territorio de ejercicio de la masculinidad.

    AbstractThis article is concerned with the ways in which texts, at a national and international level (research reports, articles, conferences…) on the armed conflict, point out the relation between gender and the armed conflict. The article is based on the theoretical gender perspectives of Joan Scott and Gabriela Castellanos, who assert that it is necessary to understand gender in the context of social relations and the power games that they are part of. Firstly, the way in which the concept of gender is approached in the reviewed papers will be presented. Then, the documents will be analyzed from the theorethical viewpoints of Scott and Castellanos. The relations between gender and identity in contexts of armed conflict will be identified. Finally, the differential impacts that the armed conflict has on the genders will be established. It must be acknowledged that the consulted texts are mainly concerned with the effects of armed conflict on women, maybe under the false pretense that the effects on men are well known, being war a territory where masculinity can be exercised.
