A la luz del reciente estudio de Julio Premat sobre figuras de autor, un eje visible estructura la literatura argentina y ese eje tiene su centro en la obra de Macedonio Fernández pero sobre todo en sus estrategias de autofiguración. En el aniversario del nacimiento de Bioy Casares es pertinente preguntarse por qué su obra parece ubicarse enel límite del canon, y si ello se debe a su inexistente vinculación con el autor de Papelesde Recienvenido. Sin embargo, intentaremos demostrar cuáles han sido las estrategiasde autofiguración de Bioy Casares, cuya apuesta más fuerte parece haber sido póstuma.

According to Julio Premat’s recent study about authorship figuration, a central conceptstructures Argentinian literature, and that concept has its center in the work ofMacedonio Fernández, but above all, in the autofiguration strategies in this writer. Thebirth anniversary of Adolfo Bioy Casares is a good occasion for asking why his workseems to lie in the limits of canon, and if this situation is due to the inexistent relationbetween Bioy and the author of Papeles de Recienvenido. Nevertheless, we will try tooutline which have been Bioy’s autofiguration strategies, whose strongest bet seems tobe posthumous.
