Resumen de Franquismo y represión: Tópicas, retóricas y doxasen El vano ayer de Isaac Rosa

La larga dictadura franquista, impuesta al final de la Guerra Civil en 1939 y concluidacon la muerte del Generalísimo en 1975, ha dado origen a un sinfín de novelas, escritasalgunas durante el franquismo y otras (la mayoría) en la era democrática. La denunciadel régimen y de la sociedad franquista dio lugar a varias de las más importantes novelas españolas del último medio siglo.De este grupo heterogéneo, he seleccionado «El vano ayer» (2004) de Isaac Rosa, quele valió a su autor el premio «Rómulo Gallegos». En esta obra Rosa eleva una durísimarequisitoria al franquismo, a la brutalidad de su sistema policial y a la corrupción moralque implantó en el país. Me interesa indagar cómo logra materializar este autor las diversas voces y contradicciones sociohistóricas y culturales emanadas del universo discursivo franquista, pues es evidente que dicha época está atravesada por conflictos político–sociales e ideológicos. Mi lectura de «El vano ayer» pretende descubrirhegemonías y disidencias, discursos y contradiscursos que me permitirán identificar ycaracterizar retóricas, tópicas y doxas propias de la sociedad del momento históricoelegido.

The long Franco dictatorship, imposed at the end of the Civil War in 1939 andended with the death of Generalissimo in 1975, has spawned countless novels,written some under Franc and other (mostly) in the democratic era. Thedenunciation of the Franco regime and society resulted several of the mostimportant Spanish novels of the last half century.This heterogeneous group, I selected «El vano ayer» (2004) by Isaac Rosa,which earned its author the «Rómulo Gallegos» award. In this work Rosa aharsh indictment rises against Franco, the brutality of the police system and the moral corruption introduced in the country. I am interested in investigatinghow this author managed to materialize the various voices and socio-historicaland cultural contradictions emanating of Franco discursive universe, it isevident that the time is crossed by political-social and ideological conflicts. Myreading of «El vano ayer» aims to discover hegemonies and dissent, discoursesand counter-discourses that will allow me to identify and characterizerhetorical, topical and doxas typical of the society of elected historic moment.
