    Se evaluaron por medio de la batería NEURPSI breve el funcionamiento cognitivo en mujeres en las diferentes etapas del climaterio. Se resaltan diferencias significativas en variables cognitivas en los rangos de edad establecidos en el NEUROPSI (31 a 50 años y 51 a 65) en dígitos, detección visual, fluidez verbal semántica, dictado, copiado y secuenciación así como diferencias significativas en secuenciación y figura semicompleja entre los grupos de premenopausia, perimenopausia y postmenopausia.

    The objective of the study is to evaluate cognitive functioning in women in the different stages of climacteric by means of the brief NEURPSI battery. Significant differences are highlighted in cognitive variables in the age ranges established in the NEUROPSI (31 to 50 years and 51 to 65) in digits, visual detection, semantic verbal fluency, dictation, copying and sequencing, as well as significant differences in sequencing and semi-complex figure among the premenopausal, perimenopausal, and postmenopausal groups.
