    Se realizó el diagnóstico tecnológico de la cantera Los Caliches y el análisis de los parámetros característicos de la técnica minera. Para ello se aplicó la matriz de evaluación de canteras (mECA), que permite comprobar el grado de implementación de las técnicas disponibles para los aspectos evaluados y diseñar mejoras tecnológicas que contribuyan a elevar la eficiencia y calidad de las producciones mineras y disminuir los impactos ambientales negativos. Para la aplicación del diagnóstico tecnológico en la cantera Los Caliches fue necesario identificar las variables y los indicadores que componen la mECA. Los valores obtenidos de cada variable permiten obtener el valor final del índice mECA (43 %), por lo que la cantera se evalúa de regular.

    The technological diagnosis of Los Caliches quarry and the analysis of the characteristic parameters of mining engineering were carried out. To do this, the evaluation matrix quarrying was used, which allows to check the implementation degree of the available techniques for the evaluated aspects and designing technological improvements to contribute to the raise of the quality and efficiency of mining production and reducing negative environmental impacts. For the application of the technological diagnosis at Los Caliches quarry it was necessary to identify the variables and indicators that make up the Evaluation Matrix. The values obtained for each variable allowed obtaining the final value of the index evaluation matrix quarrying (43%) giving the quarry a regular evaluation.
