    Se realiza el análisis de la producción científica de los doctores del Instituto Superior Minero Metalúrgico de Moa recogida en los Balances de Ciencia y Técnica en el período 2004-2009. Se presenta al grupo doctoral así como la cuantificación de los títulos de los trabajos publicados por ellos; se aplican técnicas bibliométricas para su estudio. Se obtienen resultados sobre laproductividad científica de los autores, la productividad científica anual, el comportamiento de la productividad científica por departamentos docentes, así como la correspondencia entre lo publicado y las líneas de investigación determinadas por la institución en su política científica.

    A review of the scientific investigations carried out by PhD professors in the Higher Mining Institute of Moa is presented in Science and Technology Reports during 2004 through 2009. This presents the team of PhD professors and the number of awards obtained as a result of their publications. Bibliometrics is the research method used. The results of the scientific productivity of authors, yearly scientific productivity and the behavior of scientific output in each department in addition to the relation between what is published and the research guidelines established by the institution in its scientific research policy.
