Doctor Pasavento: Un laberinto entre la ficción y la realidad

    En el siguiente trabajo analizamos un posicionamiento al respecto de la concepción de literatura del escritor Enrique Vila-Matas. En este sentido se puede decir que aquellos aspectosque no son relevantes para la vida pueden ser recuperados por la literatura, y pueden tornarsedistinguidos en la ficción.Dicho pensamiento puede identificarse en las novelas de Vila-Matas, quien repetidas vecesha apelado a una afirmación de Nabokov: “la ficción es ficción, calificar un relato de historiaverídica es un insulto al arte y la verdad”; puesto que “todo gran escritor es un gran embaucador” al relatar la realidad se distancia de ella. No obstante, algunas combinaciones entreliteratura y vida se tornan irrupciones forzadas de la ficción en lo real. Se reflexiona sobre lafluctuación del ser humano y del entorno, revelando cómo las fronteras entre ficción-realidady persona-personaje son imposibles de delimitar. Se problematiza la desnaturalización de laexperiencia humana, e interpela a la narración en tanto representación del mundo. Para ellose sirve de la metaficción como un espacio que interroga a los discursos culturales creandootros nuevos objetos imaginarios.

    In the following work we analyze a position regarding the conception of literature of thewriter Enrique Vila-Matas. In this sense, it can be said that those aspects that are not relevantto life can be recovered by literature, and can become distinguished in fiction. Said thought can be identified in the novels of Vila-Matas, who has repeatedly appealedto a statement by Nabokov: “fiction is fiction, qualifying a story as true history is an insultto art and truth”; since “every great writer is a great trickster” when recounting reality, hedistances himself from it. However, some combinations between literature and life becomeforced irruptions of fiction into reality. It reflects on the fluctuation of the human being andthe environment, revealing how the borders between fiction-reality and person-character areimpossible to define. The denaturation of human experience is problematized, and it questions the narration as a representation of the world. To do this, he uses metafiction as a spacethat interrogates cultural discourses by creating other new imaginary objects.
