La pizarra digital como herramienta para el proceso de aprendizaje

    Las Pizarras Digitales son una herramienta de las nuevas tecnologías que ha ido creciendo en el entorno educativo y recientemente se han implementado en la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo (UTB). Esta investigación pretende analizar el uso reciente de la pizarra digital (PD) como herramienta tecnológica para el proceso de aprendizaje en comparación a una pizarra tradicional acrílica (PTA). El estudio se llevó a cabo en una muestra total de 68 estudiantes del tercer nivel de la carrera de Psicología de la UTB, de la cual el Tercero A conforma el grupo de control (GC) y el Tercero B el grupo experimental (GE).

      El estudio consta de un diseño experimental de preprueba y posprueba, en la preprueba se obtuvieron promedios de 5,34:GC y 5,28:GE; mientras en la posprueba, se obtuvieron promedios de 7,37:GC y 7,27:GE. Se utilizó la prueba de normalidad de Shapiro Wick en la preprueba, posteriormente se aplicó el tratamiento experimental, que consiste en la instrucción de la temática empleada en las pruebas con el uso de la PD en el GE y el uso de la PTA (ausencia de la PD) en el GC; finalmente se aplica la postprueba para contrastar y analizar resultados.

    El GC mejoró su calificación promedio con +2,03 puntos, mientras que el GE mejoró un +1,99 puntos de calificación promedio; el estadístico Factor de Hake (g) constata lo anterior, obteniendo una zona de ganancia media de g:0,44 para el GC y g:0,42 para el GE; el estadístico Test Student nos indica una diferencia significativa entre el antes y después del tratamiento experimental. Los resultados obtenidos de esta investigación apoyan que si existe una ganancia de aprendizaje con el uso de la PD, aunque ligeramente mayor con la PTA.

    Digital Whiteboards are a tool of new technologies that has been growing in the educational environment and have recently been implemented at the Technical University of Babahoyo (UTB). This research aims to analyze the recent use of the digital whiteboard (PD) as a technological tool for the learning process in comparison to a traditional acrylic whiteboard (PTA). The study was carried out in a total sample of 68 students from the third level of the Psychology degree at the UTB, of which Third A forms the control group (CG) and Third B the experimental group (EG). The study consists of a pretest and posttest experimental design. In the pretest, averages of 5.34:GC and 5.28:GE were obtained; while in the post-test, averages of 7.37:GC and 7.27:GE were obtained. The Shapiro Wick normality test was used in the pretest, subsequently the experimental treatment was applied, which consists of the instruction of the theme used in the tests with the use of the PD in the EG and the use of thePTA (absence of the PD) in the GC; Finally, the posttest is applied to contrast and analyze results. The GC improved its average rating by +2.03 points, while the EG improved its average rating by +1.99 points; The Hake Factor statistic (g) confirms the above, obtaining an average gain area of ??g:0.44 for the CG and g:0.42 for the EG; The Student Test statistic indicates a significant difference between before and after the experimental treatment. The results obtained from this research support that there is a learning gain with the use of PD, although slightly greater with PTA.
