This article examines the OnlyFans platform from a critical feminist perspective, questioning its characterization as a tool for female empowerment. Starting from the question “How does the OnlyFans platform replicate the logics of the sex industry and in what way is this continuity expressed?”, a bibliographical and documentary review is developed to analyze the links between sexualization, pornography and sex work in digital contexts. It is argued that this platform, despite its appearance of autonomy and self -manage ment, perpetuates a structure of male domination by facilitating the constant access of men to female bodies, keeping them in a position of sexual object. It also addresses the process of female subjectification, highlighting how structural and symbolic conditions limit the possibility of truly free choice. The article concludes that OnlyFans represents a sophistication of the prostitution system that, under a rhetoric of empowerment, continues to reproduce dynamics of exploitation, precariousness and aesth etic violence towards women.
