    El presente estudio destaca la importancia de transformar las prácticas agrícolas tradicionales hacia una perspectiva de economía circular sostenible, con el propósito de reducir el impacto ambiental y fortalecer la rentabilidad y competitividad de las empresas agrícolas en el municipio de Sinaloa. El objetivo fue comparar y evaluar las prácticas agrícolas sostenibles con orientación en economía circular en las empresas de la región, identificadas como agrícola A, B y C. Se utilizó una metodología mixta con diseño descriptivo, transversal y correlacional, aplicando técnicas cuantitativas y cualitativas. La muestra estuvo compuesta por tres empresas seleccionadas por conveniencia y se emplearon cuestionarios estructurados, entrevistas abiertas y observación directa. El análisis incluyó estadística descriptiva y comparativa. Los resultados indican que agrícola A lidera en prácticas sostenibles, sobresaliendo en uso eficiente del agua, energías renovables y gestión de residuos. La agrícola B muestra fortalezas en energías limpias y biodiversidad, aunque necesita mejorar en residuos. La agrícola C destaca en eficiencia hídrica y uso de energías renovables, pero presenta rezagos en biodiversidad y economía circular. Se concluye que la sostenibilidad agrícola depende de la aplicación de principios circulares, uso responsable de recursos y adopción de tecnologías limpias para mejorar la competitividad del sector.

    This study highlights the importance of transforming traditional agricultural practices toward a sustainable circular economy approach, with the aim of reducing environmental impact and enhancing the profitability and competitiveness of agricultural enterprises in the municipality of Sinaloa. The objective was to compare and evaluate sustainable agricultural practices oriented toward the circular economy in regional companies identified as Agricultural A, B, and C. A mixed-methods approach was used, with a descriptive, cross-sectional, and correlational design, applying both quantitative and qualitative techniques. The sample consisted of three companies selected for convenience, and data were collected through structured questionnaires, open-ended interviews, and direct observation. The analysis included descriptive and comparative statistics. The results indicate that Agricultural A leads in sustainable practices, excelling in efficient water use, renewable energy, and waste management. Agricultural B shows strengths in clean energy and biodiversity, although it needs improvement in waste handling. Agricultural C stands out in water efficiency and the use of renewable energy but lags in biodiversity and circular economy practices. The study concludes that agricultural sustainability depends on the implementation of circular principles, the responsible use of resources, and the adoption of clean technologies to enhance the sector’s competitiveness.
