    A partir de las premisas del terror social y las contrafácticas de la ciencia ficción, el narrador argentino Luciano Lamberti (1978) busca intervenir, en La maestra rural (2016), el imaginario colectivo, las “narrativas hegemónicas” y las “narrativas sociales en torno a la desaparición” (Perez, 2022) para leerlas en clave conspirativa y de género (genre). Esta novela coral que construye la sintaxis perfecta para la ficción paranoicacombina un solapamiento de temporalidades propias del new weird con algunos tropos góticos, elementos del género negro, ciencia ficción de invasión alienígena y espectralización del pasado histórico.

    Starting from the social terror and science fiction, the Argentine writer Luciano Lamberti (1978) works on the collective imagination, the “hegemonic narratives” and the “social narratives around disappearance” (Perez, 2022) in La maestra rural (2016) to read them in a conspiratorial and genre key. This choral novel that builds the perfect syntax for paranoid fiction combines an overlap of temporalities typical of the new weird  genre with some gothic tropes, elements of the noir genre, science fiction of alien invasion and haunting of the historical past.
