    El presente artículo muestra parte de una investigación multidisciplinaria que, con motivo de la conmemoración de los 50 años del golpe militar en Chile, busca visibilizar ciertos acontecimientos ocurridos durante la dictadura cívico-militar en la ciudad de Concepción. El texto describe el potencial de herramientas disciplinarias propias del proyecto arquitectónico para traducir y transferir información mediante una serie de infografías y cartografías. Gracias a estos mecanismos de representación, se reúnen fragmentos dispersos en relatos, fotografías y testimonios, restituyendo parte de la memoria colectiva. Abordando diferentes escalas, la representación arquitectónica sirve como herramienta interdisciplinaria de análisis y reflexión en torno a eventos donde la arquitectura, ya sea en un edificio singular o en la ciudad, actúa como escenario, testigo y testimonio. En este sentido, su doble capacidad, al mismo tiempo analítica y sintética, confiere a las representaciones un importante rol pedagógico en la conservación y transmisión de lo sucedido a las nuevas generaciones.

    This article presents part of a multidisciplinary research project, undertaken to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the military coup in Chile, aiming to shed light on certain events that occurred during the civic-military dictatorship in the city of Concepción. The text describes the potential of disciplinary tools inherent to the architectural project to translate and transfer information through a series of infographics and cartographies. Thanks to these representational mechanisms, it is possible to gather scattered fragments from stories, photographs, and testimonies, thereby restoring part of the collective memory. By addressing different scales, architectural representation serves as an interdisciplinary tool for analysis and reflection on events where architecture, whether in a singular building or the urban fabric, acts as a stage, witness, and testimony. In this sense, its dual capacity, both analytical and synthetic, grants representations a crucial pedagogical role in the preservation and transmission of what happened to new generations.
