The present work offers a strategic vision for the development of tourismin the Litoral Centro‐Sul, Planalto Central e Leste region of Angolaalong the Corredor do Lobito, it is based on the analysis of the SWOT methodologyfor determining the conditions internal and external that enableand hinder the development of tourist activity in this geographical context,which required the characterization of the provinces found in this region(Benguela, Huambo, Bié, Moxico, Kuanza Sul and Namibe) using variousmaps thematic, territorial and national development plans and based onthe experience of other geographical contexts and studies related to strategicimplementations and characterization for the development of tourism.An assessment of the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats ofthe region is carried out and a strategy is offered that has four fundamentalstages and specific actions to be analyzed and implemented in order topromote the development of tourism in the reference region.
