Resumen de Distribución territorial de los residentes y los trabajadores extranjeros

  Desde la década de 1990 la población extranjera que reside en el territorio español ha sufrido cambios de tipo cuantitativo (de los 300 mil del año 1991 a los casi 4 millones del año 2007) y cualitativo (predominio de la inmigración por motivos laborales). Este trabajo se inicia con una breve descripción de los flujos migratorios que desde la década de 1990 llegan al Estado español. Posteriormente, y después de comentar las fuentes y la metodología utilizadas, se describe el perfil actual de los inmigrantes que residen en las diferentes Comunidades Autónomas españolas a través de un estudio comparativo mediante la elaboración de gráficos de perfiles. Con esta metodología se pretende, por una parte, identificar cuáles son las zonas receptoras de inmigrantes y, por otra parte, establecer las principales características tanto de los residentes extranjeros en cada Comunidad Autónoma (género, edad, lugar de procedencia y tipo de permiso de residencia) como de los trabajadores extranjeros afiliados a la Seguridad Social en cada uno de estos territorios (género, edad, lugar de procedencia y régimen de afiliación).

  From the decade of 1990 the foreign population who resides in the Spanish territory has suffered changes of quantitative type (from the three hundred thousand of the year 1991 to almost the four millions of the year 2007) and qualitatively (predominance of the immigration for labour motives). This work begins with a short description of the migratory flows that from the decade of 1990 came to the Spanish State. Later, and after commenting on the fountains and the methodology used, it is described the current profile of the immigrants who reside in the different Autonomous Spanish Communities across a comparative study by the production of profile graphs. With this methodology we try to identify, on one hand, which are the immigrants receptors zones and, on the other hand, establish the principal characteristics either of the foreign residents in every Autonomous Community (genre, age, place of origin and kind of residence licence) than of the foreign workers affiliated to the National Health Service in each of these territories (genre, age, place of origin and regime of affiliation).
