    En este artículo se fundamenta el origen y evolución de la inteligencia artificial, a la vez, que se polemiza sobre los retos, potencialidades y perspectivas de la Inteligencia Artificial en general, y sobre sus usos y aplicaciones en el contexto de la cultura física y el deporte. En la actualidad, se deben aprovechar los incuestionables avances que han tenido los softwares y plataformas inteligentes en la educación, en la investigación y en las diferentes y complementarias esferas de actuación del profesional de la cultura física, tales como: educación física, deporte, recreación y cultura física terapéutica. Por tanto, se precisa la urgente tarea de elevar el nivel de conciencia del valor de la Inteligencia Artificial a todos los profesores, directivos, entrenadores, estudiantes, atletas y activistas del deporte, a la vez, que fomentar una cultura masiva de uso responsable de estas tecnologías punta, de manera que puedan aprovechar de forma creativa sus enormes potencialidades en las diferentes esferas de la vida social en general y de la cultura física en particular. En concreto, en el texto se propone el desarrollo de estudios aplicados a la transformación integral de la cultura científica, en función de la utilización sistemática y creciente de estas valiosas herramientas en los recintos educativos de esta esfera. En esencia, el artículo tiene como objetivo describir los antecedentes y fundamentos, así como reflexionar sobre los retos y perspectivas de la Inteligencia Artificial en las instituciones educativas de la cultura física y del deporte.

    In this article, the origin and evolution of Artificial Intelligence is based on the challenges, potentialities and perspectives of Artificial Intelligence in general, and on its uses and applications in the context of physical culture and sport. At present, it is necessary to take advantage of the unquestionable advances made by software and intelligent platforms in education, research and in the different and complementary spheres of action of the physical culture professional, such as: physical education, sport, recreation and therapeutic physical culture. Therefore, the urgent task of raising the level of awareness of the value of Artificial Intelligence is necessary to all teachers, managers, coaches, students, athletes and sports activists, while promoting a massive culture of responsible use of these cutting-edge technologies, so that they can creatively exploit their enormous potential in the different spheres of social life in general and physical culture in particular. Specifically, the text proposes the development of studies applied to the integral transformation of scientific culture, based on the systematic and growing use of these valuable tools in the educational precincts of this sphere. In essence, the article aims to describe the background and foundations, as well as to reflect on the challenges and prospects of Artificial Intelligence in the educational institutions of physical culture and sport.
