    La transición ecológica se orienta hoy en día hacia la definición de nuevos servicios culturales que mejoren el atractivo y la accesibilidad de los lugares para las comunidades que los habitan. Investigar las relaciones entre territorio y patrimonio cultural para responder al fenómeno de la despoblación de las zonas interiores es el objetivo principal de esta contribución, que pretende contribuir al desarrollo de actividades vinculadas al fenómeno del turismo. Este enfoque, introduce el concepto inédito de comunidad patrimonial, identificado “por personas que valoran aspectos específicos de un patrimonio cultural que desean conservar y transmitir a futuras generaciones, en el marco de la actuación de los poderes públicos”. Las nuevas formas y redes de ecoturismo identifican la práctica vivencial del viaje como figura central de esta experiencia. En este marco, la definición de nuevos itinerarios turísticos contribuye a la toma de conciencia del territorio para su valorización y disfrute mediante el conocimiento, el seguimiento y la participación activa de las comunidades que insisten en estos lugares. En Sicilia y Andalucía, el paisaje se entrelaza con la historia antigua y reciente, alimentando la hipótesis de transformar los lugares con proyectos mínimos a través de declinaciones e interpretaciones de lo existente.

    Nowadays, the ecological transition is aimed at defining new cultural services that improve the attractiveness and accessibility of places for the communities that inhabit them. The main objective of this contribution is to investigate the relationship between territory and cultural heritage in order to respond to the phenomenon of depopulation of inland areas, to contribute to the development of activities linked to the phenomenon of tourism. This approach introduces the unprecedented concept of the heritage community, identified ‘by people who value specific aspects of a cultural heritage that they wish to preserve and pass on to future generations, within the framework of action by the public authorities’. The new forms and networks of ecotourism identify the experiential practice of travel as the central figure of this experience. In this framework, the definition of new tourist itineraries contributes to the awareness of the territory for its valorisation and enjoyment through the knowledge, monitoring and active participation of the communities that insist on these places. In Sicily and Andalusia, the landscape is intertwined with ancient and recent history, feeding the hypothesis of transforming places with minimal projects through declinations and interpretations of the existing.
