El deporte como herramienta de transmisión de valores en barrio desfavorecidos: potencialidades y limitaciones

    Ante la situación de exclusión a que es enfrentan los niños y jóvenes del barrio de Las Palmeras en Córdoba, el presente estudio busca conocer los valores que establece la práctica deportiva implementada por el Club de Fútbol Unión Deportiva Las Palmeras en estos colectivos. Para ello, se aplica el Cuestionario Multidimensional de Deportividad a una muestra de jugadores, así como un grupo focal con los principales representantes y entrenadores de este. Los resultados muestran que la deportividad alcanzada por los jugadores es muy alta, sin embargo, existen barreras importantes que impiden la efectividad de esta actividad como mecanismos de inserción juvenil.

    Given the situation of exclusion faced by children and young people in the Las Palmeras neighbourhood in Córdoba, this study seeks to find out the values established by the sporting practice implemented by the Unión Deportiva Las Palmeras Football Club in these groups. For this purpose, the Multidimensional Sportsmanship Questionnaire was applied to a sample of players, as well as a focus group with the main representatives and coaches. The results show that the sportsmanship achieved by the players is very high, however, there are important barriers that prevent the effectiveness of this activity as a mechanism for youth integration.
