    • This study examines the role of instructional design in developing e-books for English language teaching, specifically focusing on enhancing students' receptive and productive skills. The research highlights the integration of innovative teaching methodologies, including Flipped Classroom, Problem-Based Learning (PBL), andGamification, in the e-book design to create a more engaging and effective learning experience. Furthermore, the study assesses the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) platforms, Chat GPT 3.5 and Gemini Pro, in evaluating student writing. Thefindings provide insights into the potential benefits and challenges of using these technologies for language learning assessment, emphasizing the need for further research and development in this area. The research underscores the effectiveness ofincorporating instructional design and technology into the language learning process to cater to diverse learning needs and promote overall language proficiency
