    El documento analiza las relaciones de la República Popular China (RPC) con el continente de Oceanía /Sur del Pacífico, tratando en especial los vínculos con Australia y Nueva Zelanda, el papel y las acciones de EE.UU. en la zona frente a la progresiva influencia china y las relaciones políticas, diplomáticas, comerciales y militares de la RPC con los pequeños y micro Estados (PIP) y territorios del continente insular, todo ello desde la óptica de la presencia e intentos del gobierno de Pekín de ser un actor de primer orden y lograr superar la influencia de EE.UU. y Australia y la colisión permanente que acontece entre las democracias liberales de la angloesfera de Oceanía, la RPC y los débiles PIP que conforman este inmenso continente.

    The document analyses the relations of the People's Republic of China (hereafter PRC) with the continent of Oceania, dealing in particular with relations with Australia and New Zealand, the role and actions of the US in the area in the face of Chinese influence, and the PRC's political, diplomatic, commercial and military relations with the small and micro states and territories of the island continent, All of this from the perspective of the Beijing government's presence and attempts to become a major player and overcome US and Australian influence and the permanent collision between the continent's liberal democracies, the PRC and the weak island states that make up this immense continent.
