  This is a study of iconographic and graphic sources that inspired a series of six canvases depicting the life of the Virgin Mary and three other paintings belonging to the altarpiece of Nuestra Madre de las Angustias. These artworks date back to the second half of the 17th cen- tury and are currently preserved in the church of St. Vincent Martyr in Zamora.
